HOW YOUR TINY HOME IS DESIGNED
A deposit in the amount of $2500 will place your name on our building schedule. The deposit will be partially refundable ($1000) if we have not yet started the design or construction of the project. If design work has begun or if it is within 60 days of the agreed upon construction date, the deposit will not be refunded.
The deposit will be applied to the total cost of the project.
As of now, our schedule is booked until the end of 2020. We are still taking appointments! Going tiny is a long process that can take 6 months or more due to all of the logistics.
We have designed a nearly 100 page document that outlines all of the choices that go into creating your tiny home.
Designing a tiny home takes a lot of time. So does choosing all of the tiny details that go into your home. As a custom builder, we aim to complete the home that is specific to you and exactly what you hoped for.
After we have the main details finalized, we send that info to our in-house designer who turns it into a 3D rendering on SketchUp.
During this step, a design meeting will be held to go over your design and to make any tweaks.
THE BUILD & PAYMENT PROCESS
HOW YOUR TINY HOME COMES TOGETHER
After we receive your custom trailer, we begin to frame your home. We take the 3D design, send it to our framing team, and they create the first step towards capturing the vision of the home.
When the home is framed, sheathed, and wrapped, the next step is the exterior finishes.
During this stage, your home will see it's siding, windows, roofing, and front door installed. The home is finally taking shape!
Before this stage begins, the home is transferred to the other side of our shop. The painting, cabinetry, build-ins, flooring, and other interior details are completed.
THE SMALL BUT IMPORTANT DETAILS
We partner with One Call Logistics, a tiny house delivery company to provide transportation of your tiny home.
They are a great contact in case you ever wish to move your tiny home in the future.
Tiny house parking is a big obstacle for many. A simple way to approach legal avenues is to have your home certified as an RV. We do this with an outside company called Pacific West Associates. This will allow for more parking opportunities such as campgrounds and RV parks.
Your tiny home can be insured! Whether it is personal belongings or to the entire structure, you can feel safe & secure knowing you're covered.
